Tzolis Injury Update and Return Date vs Liverpool
Arteta says Christos Tzolis is in training and on course for Arsenal’s trip to Liverpool (4.30pm UK, Sunday) after a hamstring injury. Here is the latest status.
Christos Tzolis is in training and on course to be available for Arsenal’s trip to Liverpool on Sunday (kick-off 4.30pm UK at Anfield), Mikel Arteta confirmed on Friday, according to Liverpool FC’s team news page. The winger has a hamstring injury and no fixed return date has been announced, so the team sheet is the first firm sign of whether he’s involved.
Tzolis joined from Club Brugge this summer and has been sidelined since early October. The FPL app logged the hamstring problem on 2 October and still gives him a 75% chance of playing. He has been training with the squad this week.
Sports Mole still lists him as doubtful in its 31 October list, with no return date given. Declan Rice and Riccardo Calafiori are on the same list, even though Arteta said all three are in training. Noni Madueke is doubtful with an ankle problem; Arteta said on Friday “we don’t know yet” and he would see whether the winger completes a full training session. The same report lists Bukayo Saka and William Saliba as out, with a quad and a back problem. The table below has the latest position on all six.
| Player | Club | Injury (as sourced) | Status | Return date | FPL chance | Selected % |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tzolis | Arsenal | Hamstring | Doubtful | None confirmed | 75% | 3.8% |
| Rice | Arsenal | Hamstring (Sports Mole); unspecified (FPL) | Doubtful | None confirmed | 75% | 11.8% |
| Calafiori | Arsenal | Unspecified (Sports Mole); hip (FPL) | Doubtful | None confirmed | 75% | 47.9% |
| Madueke | Arsenal | Ankle | Doubtful | None confirmed | 50% | 0.4% |
| Saka | Arsenal | Quad (Sports Mole); thigh (FPL) | Out | None confirmed | 0% | 6.6% |
| Saliba | Arsenal | Back | Out | None confirmed | 0% | 0.2% |
Status from Sports Mole (31 Oct). FPL chance and selected % from the FPL app (1 Nov, morning UK). Selected % is the share of FPL managers who have the player.
Keep him on the bench. Tzolis has played 362 minutes in the league this season, according to the FPL app, and starting him at Anfield would ask a lot of a hamstring that has only just returned to training. Saka is out, Madueke sat out the trip to Fleetwood and is a doubt, so the wide options are thin. A late cameo from the bench still gives Arsenal pace without much risk. The same logic applies in FPL. At 3.8% selected and £6.1m, Tzolis is a punt. Wait for the team sheet before spending a transfer on him.
Lineups usually come about 75 minutes before kick-off, so expect the named XI around 3.15pm UK on Sunday. If Tzolis is on the bench, he is one change away from playing. If he is left out altogether, the injury stays open with no date to go on. Liverpool have their own doubts, covered in the Szoboszlai injury update, and the Arsenal team news page covers the rest of the squad.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
